HUNT THUG ATTACKS PROTESTOR

A hunt supporter has been arrested for allegedly punching a disabled man protesting a New Year hunt.

A man was arrested on suspicion of “headbutting” and “punching” a disabled man protesting a New Year’s Day hunt in Co Down.

BOXING DAY AND NEW YEAR DISAPPOINTMENT FOR HUNT SUPPORTERS UP AND DOWN THE COUNTRY.

A record low turnout. Hunts packing up. More protestors than supporters. Meets forced away from town centres. Many examples of hunt violence and thuggery. Media already picking up on violent thugs smashing van windows with dead fox. A bad end to a bad year, and an even worse start to another lousy year (we hope!).

One of the more symbolic images of the New Year’s Day meet was a photo of the Cottesmere looking confused and dismayed by the impressive number of people out protesting against their very existence. It’s as if they don’t realise how unpopular they are!

It is this time of year when the hunts go out to beg for money. Not a very good start to 2020 given they’re only making the news for violence, illegal hunting and being banned from traditional meeting places.
